Electronic Resistance Human Been EP Sεhkεtek 02
Under this new pseudo, Djinxx brings as always a dancefloor deep techno track which is perfectly produced. The very young Swedish artist John Dahlbäck revisits the title and makes it even more efficient, melodic and atmospheric. Great job! Finally the second remix is done by Deetron. The Swiss producer adds a furtive vocal sample and slows down the bpm to get back to deep US and analog territories. Really beautiful. An excellent EP: check it! www.sahkatek.com www.electronic-resistance.com Ludo, 18/07/2005

Breakin Stevens Ze French Bootleg Zero Two
Phish and Bitkid strike back on the substructure of a Paris based label quoted several times in our pages. With a lot of humour (let's check their website), the two Austrians deliver four completely serious unreleased cuts made of sound collages, extreme sampling and devastating tempos. On the flip, "California" combines with savoir faire the... read more Nexus 6, 14/07/2005

V/A The Vegetable Orchestra Remix Trilogy vol. 3 Karmarouge 14
It's time for Luciano & Ricardo Villalobos to take place in this remixes project started last year by Karmarouge. The two DJs & producers who don't need to be introduced anymore bring each one a click & cut and progressive (very) longplayer like stuff they are famous for. Luciano's ultra groovy track is my favorite one. Bonus: a free mp3 by Oliver Hacke which is more dedicated to the dancefloor. Check mp3 samples on Karmarouge web site! www.karmarouge.com free mp3 !! Imatran Voima Commando Dominance Electricity 27
Because they are rare and brilliant, Randy Barracuda and Fresh Lexxx's releases create each time the event. Authors of an album, a handle of Eps and some remixes on Kostamus, Tellektro or Bunker, our two Finnish activists introduced in the electro movement in 2000 make today their very first appearance on Dominance Electricity. There's no need to... read more Nexus 6, 12/07/2005

V/A Tai nasha no karosha / The album remixes Karmarouge 13
Here are the remixes coming from the excellent album by Gabriel Ananda released at the end of 2004. The first track is done by Frank Martiniq, it is powerful & atmospheric electro. The second is brought by Metope and sounds like productions of his label Areal : raw and a bit distorted techno with dark string & melody. At last, Gabriel Ananda revisits one of his tracks in a hypnotizing minimal retro style. An excellent release with a 4th bonus track which can be downloaded for free: a powerful, deep & funky electro remix by Gabriel Ananda. Lee Van Dowski - Last minute EP - Plak 06
Swiss label welcomes Lee Van Dowski, a producer also based in Geneva whose releases on Anti-iiism and more recently on Num have been reviewed in our pages. The EP contains two minimal house longplayers that are dedicated to the dancefloor thanks to their fast & ultra groovy basslines and rhythms. But what makes them very original is the addition of ambient or atmospheric elements (like in electronica) in their second part. Efficient, beautiful & fine-worked... simply excellent!!
