Because they are rare and brilliant, Randy Barracuda and Fresh Lexxx's releases create each time the event. Authors of an album, a handle of Eps and some remixes on Kostamus, Tellektro or Bunker, our two Finnish activists introduced in the electro movement in 2000 make today their very first appearance on Dominance Electricity. There's no need to underline the urgency to get this exemplary production which comes with its unforgettable cover. Conceived by Swen Papenbrock, specialized in the oil-base draws for Sci-Fi magazines such as "Perry Rodhan" in Germany, the illustration offers itself a visual invitation to discover the 12''. As for the contents, the Hellsinki duo, helped on keyboard by Gameboy, delivers with "Commando" on A side (completed by a "Bonus Beat"), a nostalgic immersion into an electro music close to that one developed by Egyptian Lover or Pretty Tony. Cinematographic intro, 80's bass line, vintage synthesisers, bleeps a la M.A.R.R.S and melodic vocoder give to the title a completely controlled old school character. On the flip, Sbassship from Dominance signs with its remarkable "Encryption Remix" a very personal treatment of the main title of which it arises a heading, just and dancefloor vision. Finally, Imatran Voima takes again the control of the EP for a last piece, "One Speed", combining energy and funky influences. Vital!!
