Brixton – eTechno de LP – Holzplatten 77

Obviously, there was a double pack on Drop Bass Network in 1996 then two live CD ("Live At Oper3000 "and" Live In Phoenix") in 1997 and 1999 but never until now Brixton had not release any album. A gap from now on filled with the unexpected publication of his first true opus furthermore on his own label. The style of Norbert Wieschollek somewhat changed since its first acidcore EP's published in 1994. Far from being quiet, the Holzplatten, Kazumi, Su:real and Bracchial mastermind delivers today with "eTechno de" eight tended techno titles, true cross-over between American influences and typically German tonalities. Feverish bass lines, groovy beats, slightly acid loops, analogical synthesizer strings, distorted rises or hypnotic programming give to this double vinyl an irresistible energy without idle period none. An intense album conceived like one mix, bubbling at the beginning, explosive on the end. Mention of excellence to sumptuous "Locki" and "Stuij", two dancefloor cuts perfectly controlled in very distinct registers. Including also eight loops finely engraved, this album will enjoy the dark and smoked warehouses lovers. Essential!
