Haywire Sessions presented a great party at a brand new club in London called the Electric Egg. Two floors full of well known and respected artists plus a third one for chilling, was something more than an average party offers. A quality live appearance from the wizard of Ghetto-Tech, Debasser, and an equally good DJ set by Radioactive Man "shook" the ground floor. On the other hand, Andrew Weatherall started the night on the upper floor and by the completion of his great set it was time for the "girly night" to begin. Two divas were in charge of the decks. Ellen Allien continued with an exceptional DJ set. Mainly slow but harsh Elec-Tech beat sounds mixed with an experimental flavour from her new album!!! Miss Kittin was the last DJ who literally rocked the place. By the time "Miss Caroline" stood up, the crowd went wild. Her outstanding DJ set plus her live MCing with lyrics from the classic "Frank Sinatra" and other gave pleasure to her fans and created an atmosphere in the club not easily found in every party. When from time to time she was "showing the finger" to the crowd, the response was screams and cheers... Music wise, Miss Kittin continued more or less on the same Tech-Elec pattern as Ellen did (probably a little bit harder), with the addition of some classic electro tracks such as Romina Cohn's "The night" and up to retro-anthems like Prodigy's "Your Love"!!! What a night... just one word can describe it... amazing!!!!!
