Early influenced by James Brown's energy, Naeem Juwan aka MC Spank Rock introduces the very first single taken from his "Yoyoyoyoyo" album published this year on february. Declined in three distinctive remixes, "Sweet Talk" appears first in its unfortunately too short "Radio Edit" version. Supported by the Typical Girls voice, Baltimora based artist signs here a furious funk hit combining with style electric guitars, feverish bass and soul melodies. Re-worked by Armani XXXChange, the track looses his lyrics in aid of a pur dancefloor instrumental enhanced by a saxophone and some flute elements perfectly controlled. As for Kalbata, discovered along with Spinks on the buffalo Frequency 01, the London located artist delivers a remarkable robotic work half way between electro breaks and old school garage music. Fully equipped with an exclusive bonus, "Primetime", offered here in its booty hard punk original demo, this release gathers together freshness and creativity.
