Compost keeps on maintaining its difference with this new release from Croatian Eddy Ramich and Jana Vladevit (Dejavu, Ohm Records). Taken from the CD album "Just Like…" published earlier this year on the same structure, this clubby single delivers two totally opposed faces. Deep House oriented on the A side, "Thinkin About The Dayz" comes with an awesome unreleased rework of "Changes" (E.M.Y Adria Mix) combining funky bass, frantic piano and groovy saxophone. On the flip, the musical register turns thanks to two unstoppable remixes of "Shamed" ("Domu Remix" and "Domu Beats") by the like of UK artist Dominic Stanton (Archive, 2000 Black, Neroli). Besides a devastating Broken Beat Hip Hop rhythmic, both versions benefit of long jazzy tracks enhanced by superb soulful lyrics and incomparable melancholic sonorities. Dancefloor, melodic and sophisticated, a wonderful EP!
