This is the first of a long series of remixes on the young Meta Records sub-label. Taken from the "Soft Machine" album published in 2004, tribalo-jazzy hit "Changing" comes today with two brilliant reworks respectively done by the label owner himself Oliver Ho (Drumcode, Synewave, Tronic) and the legendary Robert Hood (M-Plant, Tresor, Force Inc.). While the UK artist turns his original cut into a feverish dancefloor techno piece completed by a cinematographic intro and some hypnotic elements, UR ex-member delivers a melodic and soulful beauty enhanced by very funky Detroit layers. A minimal and subtle 12'' to be followed by another amazing treatment from Surgeon on the "Changing Remixes Part II"!
