Guarantee quality, this new Dopamine falls under the line of the amazing previous release produced by Alpha 606 in 2004. Conceived by Alain Hernandez (Touchin' Bass), a Cuban artist being claimed of Autechre, Aphex Twin or Soul Oddity, this "Metro-Mover EP" offers on A side two bleepy electro masterpieces of high flight: first of all the deep "Alphaphix", a melodic jewel punctuated by an atmospheric break, then the dark "Metro-Mover", with more dancefloor ambitions. Surgical creativity, meticulous care of the detail and work of goldsmith on sonorities bring to the unit its true depth. Without venturing us too much, we can say that a future great artist was born. On the reverse, Alpha 606 (Touchin' Bass, Monotone USA) himself and Andrea Parker (Touchin' Bass, Mo Wax) take again on their account Nomadic's first title to turn it into two awesome and distinct remixes versions: if the skilled American multiplies drums and percussive effects, the English beauty signs a terribly mental construction. With such outputs, the small Florida based structure should sit a little more its fame of innovating and forward-thinking label. Essential if not vital!
