V/A - Tsunami Relief

Just after the tragic catastrophe which ravaged the Indian Ocean in December 2004, Jay Haze (Contexteriror) contacted some artists in order to think with them how to help the victims. And the idea of this non-profit compilation was born: all income will be donated to an orphanage in Indonesia. Of course this initiative must be fully supported (that's what did the record manufacturer Handle with Care, the distributor Word & Sound and the promoter Superstition Network Promotions) and it's a pleasure to note that this compilation is a success: all involved artists brought high quality tracks. And the tracklisting is impressive because the 13 exclusive and unreleased tracks have been done by some of the best house & techno producers of the moment: Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos vs Jay Haze, Wighnomy Bros, Henrik Schwarz & Freestyle Man, André Galluzzi & Guido Schneider, Luciano, Märtini Brös, Ellen Allien, Dirt Crew, Daniel Bell aka Dbx, Sascha Funke, Steve Bug and Swayzak. The sound is melancholic, dark, powerful, minimal, jazzy, funky, deep or also electro and many tracks are really captivating or touching (check audio samples). If you are faithful to some of these artists of if you simply want to help the Tsunami victims, you already know what you have to do...
We want to list here the web sites where you can order this record (CD or 2x12" version), do not hesitate to give us other addresses, many thanks! :)
