After 6 EPs released on Mental Groove, Viking and Lasergun, Water Lilly presents her first CD album. Most of the 12 tracks of "Sptunika" have been written with her partner P0L, a Swiss producer also based in Geneva. The style is of course techno with electro dark 80s influences, most of the time dedicated to the dancefloor, and the tracks are made with components like 4/4 linear rhythm, massive synth basses, lyrics or vocal samples by Water Lilly. Main tracks are definitely "Tangle of Wires", "Flashover", "You kiss" (produced with Plastique de Rêve), "Hysterical sculpture" and "Fit Track" (produced with St Plomb). If some of you would like to compare her with Miss Kittin, Ellen Allien or Sylvie Marks, Water Lilly expresses herself in a less diversified & weird register than these artists but her valued personal touch allows her to be booked as a DJ in many prestigious clubs and events worldwide.
