English Orson Bramley (half of Transparent Sound) entrusted to Espion the responsibility to ensure the fourth release of his young label. This discrete artist delivers undoubtedly here his first EP, offering four neat and eclectic titles. On A side, stirring "Nitrosamines" ventures into electro techno ground, combining frenzied 4/4 rhythmic and 80's melodies. In an opposed register, electronica " Gamma Livestock " shows on a syncopated bass line some attractive bleepy keys. On the flip, "Battle Stations", presented in its original and orchestral version, offers two wonderful dark cuts: one dancefloor based on unhealthy strings and schemer vocoder, the other ambient marrying depressive piano and violins. A solid 12" which should touch a large audience. Congratulations.
