Two years after the planetary success of the "Another Day / Silent Running" EP remixed by Volsoc, Jon Drukman aka Bass Kittens (Spinyl Records/OMW) and Justin Maxwell's (Pallet/World Electric) electro label finally comes back into vinyl production. Difficult to believe in the first listening of this 12" that Carl Bradshaw alias Limbertimbre is only at his beginnings. Coming from California, this American producer delivers three mature, mechanic and dancefloor compositions enhanced with ultra complex arrangements. In overture, "One Big Bit" serves a daring programming made of abstract sonorities and groovy elements over formidable electro-breaks rhythmic. "Mercury" and "Nofi" offer similar tonalities while developing a particularly frightening dark and industrial texture. Si Begg finally signs a dishevelling remix of the main cut, in a register deep and minimal at the same time. Vital!
