Since his debut album "Ultra sex" on Gigolo Records in 2002 (Emperor Norton in the US), Matt Sims, discovered by DJ Hell, is coming back with a darker new album, still influenced by the 80's. If this album is not amazing, there are some really good tracks like "restless" or "yellow lines", totally suitable for the dance floor and already listed in famous DJ's charts. It is supposed to be erotically charged, but I didn't get it! Anyway, the hot guy's work with legends such as David J (Bauhaus / Love and rockets) and Roger Manning (Beck / Air), gives us an album gathering smartly together actual music with cold waves influences of our precious youth. And there is one special thing that definitively deserves respect; he's one of the few artists that might be recognizable at the first listening.
