First of a long series of compilations founded by Boris Divider on his own Madrid based electro label. Under the Micro Controlled Corporation disguise, Spanish signs the opening track of the A side, "Life Style", a minimal piece a la Anthony Rother based upon a robotic bassline and punctuated by a futuristic vocoder. In a similar register though more industrialist, the young talent Unborn alias Alvaro Garrido serves a noir "Nuclear War", associated here with depressive lyrics. Much more melodic, the Dona-Li Records boss, Dark Vektor himself, offers with "Joja Non Sabia" a little downtempo jewel founded on splendid atmospheric strings and Kraftwerk style vocals. Finally Ideograma delivers a rather mental "Encounter", marked by an unhealthy environment and some psychotic sonorities. A frightening release, innovating and eclectic at the same! www.drivecom-recs.com Nexus 6, 15/03/2005
