Towards a new artistic direction for Maschinen Musik? In any case, this third output on the German label sounds in a way quite different from the two previous. In the device control of this "Lessons In Logic EP", Circuit Breaker aka J.Breaker, owner of the German structure Viperjive and Andreas Schmehl himself for two superb remixes of a single title. If on A side, the "Circuit Breaker' S Lesson" offers a terribly energetic piece based on unrestrained breakbeat rhythm, industrial strings, monstrous vocoder and light acid loops, the "Dr.Schmidt' S Homework" signs here a sumptuously deep and groovy title, punctuated by vibrating and synthesizer tones. A two heads 12'' with soft and discrete reminiscences techno. Highly recommended!
