Limited to 500 hand numbered copies and hard to find, this release which is not recent cause it has been published in 2003 deserves to appear in our pages. Conceived by Brighton's Hedonizm record shop owner Mark, "Altered Images EP" gathers together four tracks as diverse as excellent written respectively by UK artists Future Beat Alliance, Walter Becomes Wendy, Scape One & Rarer And Bench. If on A side, "Change Design" introduces a brilliant piece of spatial electro equipped with heavy rhythm under vibrating Sci-Fi melodies, "Das Morgan" serves a deaf and abstract cut made of experimental sounds. More dancefloor focused, "The Edge Of Human" on the flip offers a synthetic bomb from the like of Kurt Baggaley, combining perfectly solid bass and Detroit style strings. "Mushroom" closes the EP with delivering a full of emotions track, deep and melancholic at the same time. An eclectic production covering all kind of current electro facets in a fantastic way.
