André Walter is recognized as the half of Stigmata along with partner in crime, Chris Liebing. Wicca is his new project, after many previous ones (Gecko Bros, Noosa Heads, Traveller, The Entity, Woodpeckers and more) this time on his own label. The track names will be known by anyone familiar to occult, as the label's name represents the witchcraft teachings. Starting with pounding grooves of "Sam Hain", its distorted riffs and a deadly breakdown, through "Äquinox" powerful grinding rhythm, dark distorted voices, once again a killer breakdown, to calmer "Paracelsus" with its murky atmosphere and "Dion Fortune" ready for a serious dancefloor impact. Although this record is hard, dark and possibly not acceptable by everyone, the arrangements are complex, I might even say artistic. Not for the faint of heart!
