Very nice record for the first female artist releasing on Christian Fischer's label. Lucca is coming from Czech Republic and has previously appeared on Aquatrax, Bellboy and Exwired. The record is made with help from C. Fischer and Chris Cowie. A1 ("Fast Life") is a dark retro track with a powerful breakdown, German style. A2 is Leandro Gamez's remix for "Moon and stars above" and has already gained recognition as a 2004 summer anthem. Also retro, Inner City style, really amazing and positive stuff. An absolute hit! B-side kicks off with a second remix from Napolitan all-stars Davide Squillace & Markantonio who joined forces to bring a phunkee piece of work. Superb. B2 is the original, coming on strong with a big kick drum, travelling further with a deep & driving piano stabs through to the end - excellent. Nice record for Lucca, I'm sure we'll hear more from her very soon.
