Finally, the complete collection of Stigmata is here. Since 1999 Chris Liebing and André Walter created a series of 12" with the name Stigmata, released on CL's sublabel Stigmata Records. Up until 2003 they have released 9 mysterious 12" packed just in black covers (No 1-9) that each included 4 tracks and a double 12" (No.10) containing 8 killer tracks with the distinctive Stigmata head motif on the sleeve. "Chapter One", is a CD compiled and mixed by the man himself, Chris Liebing. He used Ableton Live in order to do that and believe me his mixing is neat (as always). The CD is consisted of all 44 tracks released in this series of 10 vinyls, bringing a total chaos with its supreme "filthy" and hardcore style of techno. Those who listened to at least one of the previous Stigmata releases know exactly what I mean. What is interesting is that after the release date (October 2004), there is a chance for all fans to download the Stigmata parts from CL's or Stigmata's official websites, together with a demo version of Ableton Live from Ableton's website in order to make their own Stigmata compilation. Check out the websites below for more info. This compilation comes with the following serious notice: "It is not Schranz, It is Techno". Enjoy.

For all headbangers out there, a complete collection of all 10 Stigmatas released so far, 44 tracks of pure hard techno w/p by Chris Liebing and André Walter. Chris used Ableton Live software to put it all together, and it flows smoothly, no boring parts, the average track duration is 1:41, so figure it out. "As the label continually developed over the past few years, its sounds have evolved beyond their initial 'Schranz' descriptions..." is stated in the promotional text. Well, you can find out for yourself and check out what you have been missing. And what is also very interesting is that after the release date you can download Stigmata loops from their website and mix them using Ableton Live. Hardheads enjoy. www.stigmata-records.de www.cl-rec.com www.ableton.com Lesha, 29/09/2004
