Succeeding nearly one year later to Scape One, his partner on ex Remote Audio label, UK Rob Euroh signs here the fifth production of Templedog, structure leaded by ogre Delinquent Dialect. Play-listed by Exzakt, Bass Junkie or Volum, "The Magma Man Chronicles EP", limited for now to 250 copies, successes to win over lovers of extreme sensations and nostalgic of an old school electro enhanced by scratches. On A side, excellent "Magma Man" combines heavy bassline with dark atmosphere and gloomy vocoder. Powerful, as the dancefloor "So Hot (Lobster In The Pot) in the B-side overture. As much pleasant to play than funny to listen, insane "Brighton Knight" (tribute to Chris The Glove Taylor's and The Knights Of The Turntables) and "Burn To My Edits" remind us that Rob Euroh is first of all an outstanding DJ, inventor of a mix technique that he uses with brilliancy on both tracks. Finally, "Robcoda", the last tune of the 12", ends up with a fearsome lyric a feverish and essential release. Congratulations for so much quality! www.templedog.co.uk Nexus 6, 22/07/2004
