Here is a new French label not really like the others. Ego Twister likes for example “do-it-yourself” and nice looking musical objects. As a proof this very first release: made with orange vinyl, this lovely 10" with funny track titles and pictures comes with a short description printed on a transparent paper and a badge! For the rest, the next releases will be available in MiniCD format and the packaging will be handmade also. Now let’s focus on the musical content. Edmünd Prinz brings 6 electronica tracks as brilliant as some records previously published by Warp (like for example some Aphex Twin or Luke Vibert). With electro breakbeat or broken rhythms, beautiful melodies, some lo-fi & computer sounds and weird sample vocals, the tracks are either happy either more melancholic but always very captivating (maybe that’s why they seem to be too short! ;).
