More than one year after the first volume, here is the second compilation of the label owned by Stefan Riesen. The 2x12" version (MA 27) brings 8 new tracks by Dub Tailor, Tom Clark, Dialogue, Benjamin Wild, Dash Dude, Jackmate, Jeff Bennett and Scsi-9. Here we find really nice minimal house & techno. Special Mention to the following tracks: "Hear Electricity" by Dub Taylor (pumpin' & grating), "Back In" by Dialogue (rhythm + bass à la Mayer / Kompakt), "Thirsty" by Jackmate (power and short samples à la Akufen) and "4 Teen" by Scsi-9 (atmospheric longplayer).
Regarding the CD version (MA 28), it gathers together the same artists (sometimes with different tracks from vinyl version) but also Apoll, Armster, J Antoni & Smyglyssna, Novatek and Starfighterz (Sam Geiser aka Deetron) for more exclusive tracks. Among these 13 tunes, and excluding the ones mentioned just above, we'll give a particular attention to the superb "Airraid" by Jackmate (MA 16 / both strong and hypnotising), "Adore" by Dub Taylor (MA 26 - groovy and so nice with its sweet lyrics), "Eimer & Schaufel" by Apoll (groovy & pumpin') or also "My aeroplane" by Armster (soft and ultra captivating).
A short text says that this selection has been approved by the whole Riesen family, including the two lovely boys appearing on the sleeve. For sure they all have really good tastes!! Check it & get it!!
