This East-German duo already appeared on the label known for its famous picture discs, I mean Pocketgame. This time, Nitsch & Gleinser join Savas Pascalidis' crew with a pretty original EP. On A-side, "The Loop" uses analog sounds in a melancholic electro 80's style whereas "Self" evolves into dark minimal techno. On B-side, "Time Control" will please every .MOD chiptunes or SID tunes lovers since this electro techno track with vocals is mainly based on typical C64 sounds. This EP ends with the unplugged version of nice track entitled "Illusion" (previously released on Pocketgame 02). Yes this time no synth sounds at all! Instead, there are traditional instruments like bass, guitar, harmonica or drums and some choirs in this pop song. An excellent 12" for open-minded people.
