Cause if both men show undeniable talent for musical creation, their styles completely diverge. To the romantic-pop classicism of German producer, Belgian will opposite in a retro bias analogical sound with lots of industrial and experimental influences, result of more than twenty years of compositions that will be summed up soon on forthcoming "Laurent Boudic's early works (1979-1989)" compilation, actually in a state of co-production. Meanwhile, we'll fall back with joy on copious content of "Konztruktivizm", album released few weeks ago and easy to identify thanks to its Staline style cover similar to "Die Menschmaschine". As a real Stakhanovist, Gencom member delivers no less than 17 tracks, pleasant mixture of old school monotonous chants ("Relative to u", "The machine to kill", "Computer Madness"), interludes based upon voice mails samples ("Konztruktivizm I", "Inlichtingen", "Of Renseignements?", "Insane Robots"), strong dancefloor hits ("Informatie Centraal", "I've Been Inoculed V1.0", "Beantwoord", "The machine in love? V2.0") or brilliant experimental hymns ("Our future", "Dial 6.05am"). If few purists will be disconcerted by Laurent's polyglot (French, English and Flemish languages), bold and unexpected electro, it will be hard for them to stay indifferent to it. Sincere congratulations to wonderful tunes "A Strange Melody", "Nagazaki (mon amour)" (cover of Belgian legendary New wave band "Polyphonic Size" leaded by Roger Marc VanDeVoorde) and "Timmermans aan het werk!".
