4th label launched by the German artist, Expanded seems to be focused into groovy side of techno, on the contrary of recent Working Vinyl and Lifeform releases that are more into industrial sounds. This is obvious on A. Kremer's main track "Rock 4 Sure", a wonderful dancefloor success in a progressive style. On the flip, Nicklas Samström delivers a nervous "Assault That Ass", while Mayhem Man introduces a darker piece with "Nachtleben". 3 tracks, 3 hits, it is a good average for a 12'' isn't it?

With this release, the Italian Francesco Fiore shows he's not only Resonant label manager but also an experienced producer. His longplayer "Solution", dedicated to the dancefloor, brings power, groove and hypnotism. Ployd's remix and the version without kick are also really nice. Check it!

Three techno tracks by this promising young English producer. On B-side, nothing really innovating: two quite linear DJ tools dedicated to already blown away dancefloors. The A-side longplayer has a better work and will be more interesting at mixing because of its numerous breaks, samples, strings and sounds.

There's only a few remixes that succeed to outclass original tracks. This is the case here on Working Vinyl ninth production. Written by Andreas Kremer, minimal and acid "Fruchtkörper" comes on B side with a Darc Marc (Purenoise Records) impressive and awesome rework! Starting with a dark electro rhythm to finally ending up with an industrial hard techno storm, UK version sounds like a fearsome dancefloor steamroller. Essential!

A mini-LP of 8 short electro "techno" breakbeat tunes sounding like video games and including many crazy lyrics or samples. After Psi49net, here comes Anthony Rother second label. Evolving into electro punk register, this young structure will welcome new talents (Soundfreaks) as well as well established artists from the techno scene (Johannes Heil for instance). Inaugurating its first output, Datapunk owner delivers brilliant "Coming Home" and "Bad To The Bone", two funky tracks full of vocals but lacking in sci-fi sounds and vocoder. A very interesting EP that should disconcert fans of the German producer.
