Heil vs Hell - P.D.D. - JH Limited 02
Take a strong grating bass, a basic 909 rhythm, few aggressive sounds, add some frightening string + melody and a second fast synthbass and here is a dancefloor hit, especially because it's done by Johannes Heil & DJ Hell. This "one track / one side" is very efficient even if we could have expect better from these two German techno legends. www.jh-records.com Ludo, 11/06/2004

Three electro pop / punk rock track by German duo Bülent Kullukcu & Albert Tempel on this new label. Harald Klotzberg – Polymorphism 0.1 – Collapse 04
Teaser of an album to come soon on Decomplex Audio subdivision, this EP written and produced by Harald Klotzberg offers three mixes of a one and same track. If the original on A-side introduces a fearsome German spoken monolog over an acid bassline, the two other tunes on B-side use main elements of the previous version in styles respectively hard techno and industrial. A brilliant EP, dancefloor and bubbling that shows the diverse faces of the Decomplex mastermind. www.collapse.de www.decomplexaudio.com Nexus 6, 02/06/2004

V/A – Psychorock 03 – Logos Production 09

Cole – Shadows – Holzplatten 72
With "Shadows", Robert Wolanski, previously heard on Kazumi and Utils labels, signs three cuts halfway from US Techno and German Tech'house. On A-side, longplayer "Radio Rage" offers linear and muffled rhythm under beautiful metallic strings à la Damon Wild. Classical but efficient. More offensive, club hit "Take This" on the flip introduces tribal tempo and feverish vocal samples. At last, "It Came From The Darkness", a perfect tune to play in the middle of a set, will refer directly to the sometime cold and mental Detroit sound. A serious EP focused on the dancefloor. www.pornostarmusic.com Nexus 6, 26/05/2004
