Hard to classify Manasyt's sound. Not really electrocore, not really oldschool nor futuristic. Or may be all the styles at the same time. Whatever, this Bulgarian born artist now located in USA is one of the current new talents that a lot of labels would like to have on their catalogue. With an EP coming out soon on Roulette Rekordz, few appearances on Kommando 6 and Karma Ketchup, Petar Tassev joins today Andrea Parker's impressive structure to deliver a powerful five tracks release. "Brainwash Volunteer Program" starts on A-side with "N°13th Floor" and "Sore", two incredible dancefloor pieces combining hard bassline, metallic sounds and industrial synthesizers. Still in the same spirit, "Welcome Home" and "Facelift Gone Wrong" on the flip introduce funky elements of the past over psychotic and raw rhythms. At last, "Scornfinger" ends this devastating EP with a paranoiac and unhealthy string. Heavy but brilliant, a producer to follow!
