After a first EP on English label Modernism, the Irish newcomer Gary Spence aka T-Polar delivers his debut LP on Morris Audio. On "Department of Stealth", the sound is mainly house, groovy & funky, sometimes pumpin', sometimes softer, but also often deep with a Detroit touch thanks to many warm and lovely strings & sounds. Let's add some nice vocals (most of the time female ones) and we get eight high class tracks. "Breaksages", "Metalage", "Southside construction" and "Tristentrax" are simply superb. In the spirit of some I220 releases (2 Dollar Egg or Sasse & Carola for examples). Of course strongly recommended!!
