Succeeding to the German Mas 2008, üNN, Krom and Sniper Mode, TwoFourteen signs here the tenth album published by Mikrolux since its launch two years ago in Offenbach. Chris Roman, a Puerto Rican born artist based now in Florida offers for the occasion height sumptuous electro tunes (eleven in the CD format version) to compare with half of Volsoc band Volum's musical register. Against the current of the actual dancefloor productions, US producer develops here a very personal sound made of deep and sweet strings, hypnotic and low rhythms, at last sensitive and melodious atmospheres. If "Static Image", "Exiled Inhabitant", "Idiomflux" and "Above Sea Level" keep a dark side, "Plugs", "Surfaced", "Untitled" and "Her Stereo Malanger" give the album its exceptional luminosity. In turn linear, funky or futuristic, "Esemplastic" overflows with jewels that will give you quivers on your back. A magnificent opus to listen at home that will aim both to your soul and heart. www.mikrolux.com Nexus 6, 23/06/2004
