Working on his album for Drivecom, Spanish Boris Divider (Satamile, Dona-Li) turns "Dark Mind" (Monotone 04) into a minimal jewel punctuated by some tearing vintage synthesiser melodies a la Blade Runner. Superb. Recently celebrated world wide thanks to his remarkable version of "Robot Movement" on Battle Trax 11, U.K Simon Brown aka The Dexorcist (SMB, Control Tower) delivers a dark but yet impressive surboosted remix of "Transfusion" (Frajile 04). At last, discrete members of Florida based band Alpha 606 Rey Rubio and Armando Martinez (Dopamine Records, Touchin' Bass) sign on "Sleeping With The Enemy" (Nuff Nuff Music 01) a wonderful bleepy cover, close to the Soul Oddity sound. A vital output combining eclectism, talent and creativity!
