Iridite is a Glasgow based label founded on 'it's all about the music' principle. Their first release hooked names like Claude Young, Dan Bell, Fabrice Lig and many others for it's diversity and high quality tracks. The second release gives us three beautiful, melodic Detroit tunes showing an intelligent approach to the music, using minimal computer involvement. A-side track 'La Triste' done by Methodology, was originally the inspiration for this label, and it shows, as the guys behind Iridite say, 'new definition of fluid'. B-side starts off with Iridite Productions feat. Jason Brunton - Track Title 2. Jason is managing Iridite with Craig Allan, who's also involved in making this great music, and to prove they are meaning serious business, Claude Young has recently licensed this track for his latest mix CD - Berlin-Detroit. Final track is a warm, beautiful, string driven 'Day 83' done by Andrew Kirkland aka Nieux who's already received most compliments for his track on Iridite 001. Recommended for all true Detroit techno lovers.
