Electro funk lovers, you will appreciate !! Following The Advent or Transparent Sound, Phil Hearin, a 25 years old producer, offers its first four tracks EP to Electrix. Author of a handful of contribution on Eukabreaks, Kinsize and Slide, this artist from Belfast develops a varied sound, focused on dancefloor in particular on "146 Ways" but also on robotic "Strings On The Hill". No doubt bassline will remind you Zeta Reticula aka Umek's works. On logoside, the Irishman explores a more 4/4 field with tech'house "Red Controller" before he concludes with very deep "Mandarin", a sumptuous and brilliant old school piece of break. Not so bad for a start !!
