When Max Duley is in question forget the standard drum loops, forget the standard use of hi-hats too, expect something different. "Backlash Boy" (B1) illustrates this perfectly : chopped out vocals on a dark moody background with very interesting bassline. "Home Is Where The Hate Is" (B2) is a beatless industrial piece with dark utopistic surrounding. "Sticky Fingers" (A1) impressed me the most, a definite must hear, awesome build-up, closest description i can think of is a driving robotic funk, one way or the other this one won't leave you cold-blooded. "Eastern Rumble" (A2) presents nice use of synth sounds with solid percussions mixed together well with some fat bassline.
Call it futuristic, call it experimental, call it what you want , but for sure, we all should give this man a praise for doing so damn original music.
