You already knew him under his Heuristic Audio (Satamile Records NYK) moniker. With the launching of PolymeResearch, David Froud presents his new musical project today: C.Theory. Turned towards electro music at the same time dancefloor and of domestic listening, the Londoner, associated with Mind Over Rhythm, delivers a first release yet essential. Four sumptuous productions make this eclectic output to be started with impressive "Stereoselective Synthesis" on A side, based on a minimal bassline and some vibrating dark strings. Also fine-worked, the atmospheric "Micromachining" introduces an ultra groovy slaughter punctuated by a deep, synthetic and planning melody. On the flip side, "Microdissection" offers a more aggressive composition. Focused on a sharp rhythmic, this title emphasizes at the end of the course subtle and discrete industrial layers whose only David Froud has the secrecy. At last, "Exotonin" punctuates on a depressive note a 12'' called to be a great success. Half way between Scape One, E.M.S and Alpha606. Vast, rich and enormous!
