Following their wonderful "Pragmatic Response EP" published in middle of last year, Blotnik Brothers's second release on Satamile confirms our Swedish's attraction for a dancefloor, atmospheric and percussive electro. Sometimes near to Kraftwerk sound in particular on "Le monde", a brilliant French vocoded track, sometimes close to Dr. Scissors and Anthony Rother's style on "Electro Manifesto (Beats One Demand)", the music of the Malmö based trio however never falls into plagiarism. It is obvious for instance on superb "Attention Attention" and “Robot Kingdom" cuts, two personal and powerful pieces combining rough beat, seizing sub bass, smashing Sci-fi sonorities and ultra licked arrangements. An intergalactic 12" filled up with dramatic sense of humour. Excellent!
