To finish the year 2004 by an explosive output, such was Andrew A. Price's desire. A wish fulfilled with the publication of Bytecon's second release on the New-Yorker structure. An impressive production, as expected now from this Belgian artist deeply early influenced by new beat and 90's rave music. "I-WORM Intruder" opens the A side by a metallic and vocoded electro cut taking again in a distorted way one of the melodies of "Dune" movie signed David Lynch. Even more shingling, "Land Of The Dark", to bring closer to "Tele Remote" on the flip, offers a splendid electrocore work in a Jackal & Hyde way, raised by a savage breakbeat rhythmic and some violent industrial strings. Finally the driving "Road Of The Madness" delivers a dancefloor bomb with collateral damage, being served by a powerful bassline, aggressive drums and lots of Sci-Fi elements. A fascinating production, furious and banging at the same time, strictly in the line of Opbrouck Stijn's previous 12" "T-Wrex" on Satamile.
