Author of seven 12's and an album on his own Fundata and Shelter structures, Freddy J, a burning electronic activist well known on Radio Pluriel in Lyon, can be proud to be the last Kommando 6 signature. Developing a dark and cold sound perfectly appropriate to the German label artistic line, French delivers here four dancefloor cuts marrying US techno-acid influences and nostalgic electro beat rhythms. If "Get Up" on A side signs a superb industrial track marked by the use of analogical instruments fallen in disuse, "I.E.E.S" serves under a harder rhythmic some vibrating synthesizer strings. More atmospheric, "Overwork" and "Haunting" on the flip offer two incursions into dark, hypnotic and depressive universes. To sum up, "La Nouvelle Chair" appears as a serious 12" perfectly done by an artist on whom it will be necessary to hope in the months to come. Congratulations.
