If you think Science City forever disappeared, undeceive! After five years of interruption and a vibrating last release produced by Da Halz ("Konform EP" on Sci 18), the structure of Leipzig announces today its resurrection and takes this opportunity to use invaluable services of a heavyweight electro producer named Kurt Baggaley. In four sumptuous titles, UK artist with vertiginous discography on labels such as Electrix, Satamile, Iwari, Kône and soon Adaptive Programs signs a dark 12'' oscillating between dancefloor bombs and very home listening subtlety. If "Function Gamma", "F.M" and "Galaxy Prime" privilege furious analogical flights over powerful basslines, "Machine" offers a splendid downtempo odyssey combining deep sonorities, filtered voice and melancholic atmosphere. With "The (Complete) Gamma Function EP", Scape One gives on the rails in brilliant way a label which had seen being born in its time numerous talents such as Krok, Lynx, Dead Leaf or Sandbengers… Well done, long life and excellent continuation!
