This is only the second EP of Djinxx, young producer based in south of France, and he's already remixed by big names! The A side starts with "In your heart" original version (taken from the album entitled "Travel Notes") : a deep techno / house track without usual 4/4 rhythm and with beautiful sounds mixed up with delicacy that captivate the listener bit by bit. Perfect to make a breat in a DJ set and to hypnotise the crowd. The next tune is a reworks by Didier Sinclair: this time a pumpin' rhythm and some percussions are added as well as some oldschool sounds - in particular some gated strings that remember 90's trancy sound. But let's check the B-side: it's simply a remix done by Mr John Tejada himself!! The American producer takes the essential components of the original track and adds massive, groovy & driving bass + rhythm. The strings and deep sounds are still here but of course with stronger Detroit influences. Fans of class & minimal techno / house US sound: this release is for you! The nice surprise of the week.
