About one year after a first EP release, the young French label Bomb-X is now publishing its first CD: a shared album produced by the duo Oleg (Amenhotep & Vincent C) and Zim. 13 tracks with a sound mainly deep house, very warm and even atmospheric thanks to the use of many strings. A perfect demonstration of the three artists' savoir-faire especially in sound producing. On some tracks there are lovely female vocals (Emilie d'Athénais on the excellent "Bad News" and Caroleen on "Joy" for example) and also male vocals on breakbeat ("In my new world") or downtempo ("Cournonson") explorations. Great stuff ! Too bad "Point to point" is not available in vinyl format. But no matter it is of course perfect for a domestic use... Check audio samples on Bomb-X web site!
