All releases of the label from New-York "A Touch of Class" are flawless (!). It always starts with a well-designed sleeve (this time a picture of Jeremy Scott dressed like a Red Indian!). Then, there is each time a crazy disco future hit that is brought in various versions. At last, it ends with the free distribution of all tracks on the internet as mp3 files. So this time, the main concept of this EP entitled "Wanna Be" is the guest star Jeremy Scott. With simply a few lyrics, the famous fashion designer makes fun over Derek Marin aka Sideview's music. On the A-side, the "touched by Class" version is co-produced, as you probably guessed, by A Touch Of Class. It is electro with 80's sounds and with Jeremy Scott's voice used in a Ghetto style way. Absolutely excellent! The next track, "Without Jeremy", is a slower instrumental version. On the B-side, "Remixed" is the longplayer dedicated to the dancefloor. Now the voice is robotic and the style is - what a suprise! - italo techno. No doubt, this is another EP that will reach DJ bags of all 80's electro techno pop fans !!
