Djinxx – From desert to space – F... U ! FCOM ! 222

Karim Sahraoui aka Djinxx / The Soul Monkey is really productive this year because here is another 2 tracks EP released on FCom dancefloor subdivision. On A side we find pumpin' rhythm, some sounds remembering Technasia and a really nice organ sound. On B side, the beginning is à la Jeff Mills, quite hypnotizing and minimal then some deep strings appear to enhance this track perfectly. Beautiful and efficient at the same time. Check it!

V/A – Never enough time... – El Otro Mundo CD 02

The label from San Francisco presents its second compilation: 13 tracks produced by Audiosond, el gato #9, Paul Leath & Uchu. The styles are varied and there are many influences (techno, house, electro, ambient, downtempo, jazz or dub). It sounds really US and some titles can remember early works by Derrick May. Some tracks are better than the others and it would be great if they were be available on vinyl. Some audio samples should be online on the label web site soon.

V/A – Chica Disco Vol.3 mixed by DJ Sin Plomo – Chica Discos 09 CD

Promoting Ibiza's sound, this mixed selection combines various quality deep house tracks (like Jussi Pekka or Vincenzo for example) and even minimal ("Loverboy" remix by Steve Bug) with other tracks that are "club house" oriented: vocals, percussions, funky or trancy influences. The second CD is also mixed but dedicated to "Ibiza chill-out"...

John Tejada & Arian Leviste – Back for basics – Palette 36

The two American producers work together regularly (especially on Palette, John Tejada's label) but most of the time on EPs only. This time they deliver a new album which is perfectly entitled.
