Cross-over is the real point of this concept-album ! Including 16 musical interludes and titles, Christian Morgenstern sound combines innocent and modern influences from world-wide famous artists as Aphex Twin ("Minor inconveniences", "Bobby is a loser", "Outro Eins"), Jean Michel Jarre ("Rocket science", "In space no-one can hear you scream") as well Kraftwerk ("Loading"). Adding a touch of kitsch and humour on the "X-mas in Freiburg" tune made on Amiga computer for instance, this electro artist from Cologne revisits his background in a melodic trip more focused on your mind than on your legs although tracks as "Hawaii Blue", "Konfort Corpse", "All night dancing" or "1969" are awesome dancefloor killers.
From nostalgic beats and 80's sounds to beautiful techno ("That's what you get from being polite" is an excellent example too), this German producer also known on Kanzleramt records continues on showing he's at ease and very mature with machines. Hawaii Blue will surprise you with a gap and naïve purpose.
