Far from following current electro wave, young UK artist, ridded of a dark and aggressive sound sings an ultra funky first 12''. Besides the musical performing, let's notice here author's physical feat: as his scene name mentions, he owns a real artificial prosthesis. Let's talk about the content now. Analogical synthesizers and drum machines compose the main instruments used on the five tracks. If Kraftwerk influence seems to be obvious on melodic "Welcome To Planet Funk", "Armtronic Action" and "Emotional Computer", Artificial Arm likes to combine early 80's funkadelic sounds, vocoders and futuristic bleeps, specially on beautiful "Automatic Worm" and "You Are Listening To An Electronic Jam".
