No doubt, this EP includes all components to hit on the dancefloor. Mastering his machines with talent, brilliant Georg Köhler, recently heard on Decomplex label, finds again for the third time Holzplatten subdivision for a sharp and fearsome 12''. On A side, longplayer "Melancholia" develops an ultra groovy techno, based upon early 90's trancey strings and enthusiastic melody. Full of percussive elements, "Init System" goes on on the flip with a Detroit spirit. At last, "Shadow", in an aggressive register, introduces a certain idea of German hard techno. A short album of 45 minutes rather original by iGod who seems to be a Japanese artist if we refer to the mention written on the CD (recorded Kobe Japan). 7 tracks, a mix of ambient, electro, techno & electronica with some rock influences (distorted guitars). Apparently not so easy to find but recommended to open-minded people!

A hit, its remix and a bonus track, here's the winning formula of Lifeform releases. This eleventh EP doesn't depart from the rule thanks to fearsome club burner "My Love Is Hot", a killer tune based upon efficient bassline and early 90's techno style vocals. If original version keeps a dynamic spirit, Lars Klein remix on B side evolves into muffled and mental techno. At last, with an overdose of drums and patterns, "Reloaded" concludes in a distorted and powerful note this successful EP that will do irreparable damages on the dancefloor.

Joakim Ijäz & Jiannis Siopis appear for the first time on Lasergun. A side: a techno longplayer with typical German sound - it could have been a remix of "Aces High" by Christian Morgenstern ! Simple, minimal & effective. B side: a remix done with their friend Kiki including more sounds (percussions, nice break and string + effects) and as pumpin' as the original version. Check it!
